Thanks for these recommendations. I love books about friend/sister relationships; in fact I enjoy most messy family sagas, preferably ones that span a couple of generations. I had not heard of Swing Time before, I guess it's time to go back and read it.
Yes! I LOVE a multiple-generation family saga. It's definitely a theme I'm going to cover in the newsletter one day so I will come back to you for your favourite suggestions!
Thanks Anna, I look forward to participating once my busy season slows down. I look forward to your newsletter in my inbox, I always find books to add to my TBR.
These are all some of my absolute faves - Zadie Smith, Emma Kline, Julian Barnes. And Sally Rooney! Thank you for sharing that killer trailer - it looks amazing, and worthy!
Elena Ferrante's Neopolitan novels, The Weekend by Charlotte Wood, Maeve Binchy's Circle of Friends, Jacqueline Wilson's Girls in Love etc., Dolly's Everything I Know About Love. I think I'll stop at five but I may return!
I'll take this as my cue to finally get on with reading Rooney :)
Ha - it's time! Would love to hear what you think!
I love books (any media really) that takes female friendship seriously. Great picks here!
